Helldivers 2 on Xbox Series S/X – A Quick Review

My 1st experience with Helldivers 2 was on Playstation 5. As much as I loved the game, I never had a chance to play it much because most of my friends were on Xbox – and Helldivers was not.

Not until last week at least.

If it wasn’t for trucking school, I would have live streamed it on Day One. But, I did buy it the first chance I got and have enjoyed playing it just as much as I did a year ago.

Another Victory for the Right Side of History

The game is straight golden. The action is intense, playing with my friends is a blast and the best part is, you don’t have to worry about people cheating. I’ll say it again – YOU DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE CHEATERS.

If there is one thing I could complain about, it would be the graphics on the Xbox Series S. Don’t get me wrong, the engine on the Series S is nowhere near as good as the Playstation 5 or Xbox Series X, and I knew that but after playing the game at its best, it’s hard to settle for a lesser version.

No big deal though. The game still plays great and now I have an incentive to upgrade my console to the Xbox Series X. A win-win situation for me.

If this is your first time hearing about Helldives 2, let me describe it for you. 

Helldivers 2 is the only game where democracy is delivered at 2,000 rounds per minute. Grab your friends, drop into hostile alien worlds, and try not to accidentally vaporize each other while saving humanity. 

With Helldivers 2, freedom isn’t free – it’ll cost you a few respawns. It’s like the movie “Starship Troopers” but so much better and super fun to play. 

All I can say now is get the game. You won’t be disappointed. And with that said, it’s time for me to get a nice big cup of Liber‑TEA!
